Friendly Match with Pioneer JC!

Okay, pictures taken during Pioneer JC's friendly match is up on Facebook. Only the 60 most relevant and nicer ones are chosen out of the 142 photos were up. If any of you would like to have all the original pictures, please pass me a thumbdrive with at least 700mb free memory space.

All pictures are taken with our beloved Mr Khor's new Sony Alpha 350, with an average of 5mb per picture. However, due to the lightings of the hall and my not-so-experienced photography skills, most of those photos in action are quite noisy...

Solution? Use Canon. (:

New Rule?

While reading through the Rules and Regulations of this VAS Under-16 tournament, I came across this rule which doesn't seem familiar to me after participating in it thrice.

Rule 6.3.9: All players are to submit their student’s pass to the official-in-charge for prove of eligibility before every match they are playing.

So just in case, do bring along your identity card for the match tomorrow.
All the best for the game, Victorians! (:

VS vs GMS

Victoria School vs Geylang Methodist Secondary School

Date: 26 October 2008
Past Record: VAS Under-16 2007, VS won 2-0
Jersey: Red; Libero: Black
Time of Match: 1020 Hrs
Time of Arrival (at Hougang sports hall): 0900 Hrs

*Match may subject to changes as the very efficient VAS tournament committee still has not uploaded the original fixtures up on their website even 24 hours before the start of this VAS tournament.
According to rule 20.2, "The VAS Tournament Sub-Committee has the right to alter the scheduled time and dates of the tournament if necessary. Participating teams will be informed of the changes as soon as possible."

**but i guess the main problem here is we aren't even informed of any upcoming match by any officials in-charge or through any forms of tournament fixtures. They are suppose to have uploaded a copy of the fixtures up before yesterday!

VSVB groups

Yup, VSVB group is created on both Friendster and Facebook!
So please join them as soon as possible guys!
You can click on the tabs 'Facebook' and 'Friendster' on the banner to link to those pages.
These groups are set up hoping that you guys will be proud of yourself, to be in VSVB regardless of past, present or future. So please do not post or write anything stupid on those pages and on this blog!

Always remember,
- Once a Victorian, Always a Victorian.

Cherish the days you have in VSVB. They're sure not gonna last forever, but i'm sure they'll always be a memorable part of your life. (:

How i created the banner of this blog...

Okay, so this is the original picture, drawn by me on the ground of VSVB's outdoor court.
Photo captured by Ernest.

Played with the contrast and colours of the picture, and here it goes:

Removed those irritating white patches along the vertical yellow line and did some touch up:

Edited the bottom right area of the picture:

Resized and cropped the image to fit the top banner of this blog,
and it's done! :

Oh and the topmost banner was done purely from scratch by ME! :D

Cool aye?
Photoshop create wonders...
And it's the first few times i'm using this software.
Oh don't you think that i'm such a genius?
Wahaha. :D

Almost done!

Alright, after some time of editing, photoshop-ing here and there, i should be almost done reviving this blog! Haha. I know the whole template is not really that awesome but at least i put in quite a lot of effort kay! Yup, so please do comment on how i can improve the banner or whatever that's on this blog luh. I'll try my best! (: Oh and i'll be setting up a VSVB group on Friendster and Facebook since so many of us have those accounts! So please join them by your own if i accidentally missed out inviting you! And for those of you with blogs/websites, kindly give me your links if you want it to be up under Links.

*maybe a tagboard will be out soon, 'cause i'm still deciding if this blog should have one. For the time being, just use those comments first kay!

Okay, since exams are over and VAS Under 16 is just round the corner, i shall try to revive this blog! Give me some time and i promise it'll be done! Still in the process of editing here and there. So if anyone happen to pass by this blog through whatever ways, do not be surprise if it's a little broken here and there! Oh and this blog will be used for everything concerning Victoria School Volleyball.
Stay tuned aye. (:
