Ok, peeps. If you've been following the news(doubt it), you would have realised that CCAs will be allowed to resume from next week on for all schools. Therefore, this would equate to us being able to train starting from next week. Thus, if I'm not wrong, which I usually am not, then training would be on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday next week.

Dismissal of school will be at 1.05pm. Please gather to the Indoor Sports Hall by 1.30pm. The Sports Fiesta will start at 2pm.
At 4.45pm, there is a torch relay and the Sports Fiesta has to stop. Secondary 4 volleyball players are to station themselves at the foyer to cheer...

Please wear your school uniform when you report to school in the morning.

Training CANCELLED

Due to the H1N1 virus, the trainings for this whole week will be CANCELLED (Thurs, Friday: 25th & 26th June 09 respectively). However, there is a piece of good news.. The Indoor Sports Hall is finally done and ready for us to play volleyball inside..

Training CANCELLED (23th June 2009)

For tomorrow's training(23/6/09), it will be CANCELLED, and thursday's training, will be played by ear. This is due to the H1N1 virus. And you are advised not to return to school for if possible. No need to lock yourself in your room though. And captains, please inform all the people by today.

Baik VS!

VS volleyball has made its mark! Haha! We were mentioned today in the news.(Look at today's Newpaper(8/4/09), look at page 14. It is a column about how VJC should start a girls school. But skip all the way to the third column of the article. Look at the 4th paragraph, and you should see VSVB being mentioned.

I quote:

"It(VS) finished third in B Boys volleyball. And for the first time in more than two decades, the school has made the nationals semi-finals for volleyball, in not one but both divisions." -excerpt from column of Santokh Singh, Newpaper, 8/4/09

Yep. They might not have mentioned any names, but heck, we finally got some recognition for all our hard work! Nice one people! Let's all continue the hard work!

Victoria School Volleyball clinched the 4th place of Nationals 2009 of B Division, for the first time ever in history. I'm sure there will be more years to come with more appropriate facilities and training ground. Whatever happens in future, we'll always be a team. (:
